Jimmyjane makes some of the best silicone vibrators available – if you can afford one, they’re worth every penny. Given Jimmyjane’s premium reputation, it’s fair to expect they offer premium lubricants. Indeed, Feel Sexy’s propanediol formula is one we associate with better brands. What’s surprising is how affordable this one is – especially since there’s almost always a store-wide discount available to subscribers.
While we haven’t fully reviewed this lubricant yet, seeing this formula’s ingredients at such a reasonable price instantly earned it a place on our All Around Best list.
To get the price we’re talking about, skip Amazon and purchase directly from Jimmyjane.
Water, Propanediol, Gluconolactone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid.
When it comes to water-glycol formulas, SLICK.SEXY recommends propanediol because it’s less sticky than glycerin and has a better safety and environmental rating than propylene glycol.
We also love seeing gluconolactone because of its moisture-enhancing and other skin-loving properties.
While we haven’t gotten the specs yet, Jimmyjane’s site explicitly states Feel Sexy is ‘very low osmolality’ – exactly the type of water-based formula we want to help people find because they’re unlikely to cause irritation or promote infection.
Packaging & Labeling
In most cases, the FDA does not require manufacturers to disclose a lubricnat's pH or osmolality. Because we feel it's important to vaginal health, we do request this information. However, it isn't always available or offered and does not impact our reviews.
The official Jimmyjane page states that Feel Sexy is ‘very low osmolality’ – which is generally true of formulas with Feel Sexy’s ingredients. We’ve requested specs for pH and osmolality & will update this review once we’ve heard back.
Jimmyjane Feel Sexy Water-Based Personal lubricant has passed our initial screening based on ingredients, manufacturer info, and customer reviews. We have not obtained samples yet.
