Jo Actively Trying Fertility-Friendly Personal Lubricant

Jo Actively Trying Fertility-Friendly Personal Lubricant

Jo Actively Trying Fertility-Friendly Personal Lubricant is formulated to have a pH, osmolality, and consistency that’s similar to cervical mucus during fertile times. While no lubricant can increase your chances of becoming pregnant, Jo Actively Trying is one of the few lubricants that have been approved by the FDA as fertility safe.

We don’t have anyone on our review team that’s currently trying to conceive, but we will be doing a full review in September 2019.

pH: Unknown
Osmolality: Unknown
FDA 501(k) Status: Approved

In most cases, the FDA does not require manufacturers to disclose a lubricnat's pH or osmolality. Because we feel it's important to vaginal health, we do request this information. However, it isn't always available or offered and does not impact our reviews.

We have requested samples & specs for this lubricant. Because it is FDA approved as fertility-friendly, we expect this lubricant to have an osmolality between 250-380 mOsm/kg and a pH close to 7.0 to support sperm health.

Jo Actively Trying Fertility-Friendly Personal Lubricant has passed our initial screening based on ingredients, manufacturer info, and customer reviews. We have not obtained samples yet.
